Dale brings a broad and diversified portfolio of skills in financial and operational management to the Food and Beverage sector. Clients count on his depth and breadth to help them address the full scope of improving business performance. Dale is an excellent team builder, able to build consensus across departments to achieve company objectives. He understands the need to have timely, reliable information across multiple functions to have informed, objective discussions to understand issues and develop strategies to drive results. An important element of such planning is to develop operational metrics that focus activities on the goals of the company. This is important whether the issue is resolving inefficiency on an individual production line or building a long- range strategic plan for the entire company.
Prior to joining CFOs2GO, he served for nine years as the Chief Financial Officer of a privately held cheese packaging and distribution company with facilities in California, Nevada and Texas. During his tenure, the company annual revenues grew to more than $750 million. In addition to internal and external financial reporting, Dale led the Human Resources, Information Technology and Supply Chain Management functions. As a result, he applies a broad-based management perspective to a wide range of financial and operational issues and provides effective solutions to the issues facing companies today.
Earlier in his career, Dale worked in the high- tech arena of Silicon Valley. He spent more than fifteen years in a series of financial and operational roles for electronics manufacturing companies, Solectron and Flextronics. Both companies had global footprints and multiple operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Dale also was a Senior Financial Director for Xilinx, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) circuits based in San Jose.
During his ten years at Solectron, he spent two years as a program manager for a key customer, learning the complexities of operational support for a global client and was then promoted to Global Program Manager with responsibility for program management of a key client across three continents. At Flextronics, served as Senior Finance Director, supporting the Global Procurement team, responsible for strategic raw materials planning and procurement for more than forty factories globally, with a purchasing spend in excess of $2.0 billion annually. At Xilinx, he was responsible for financial support for the global engineering team, with operations in the US and in India.
Dale graduated from Michigan State University with an undergraduate degree in business administration and accounting. During his tenure at Solectron, he was identified as a high potential employee and subsequently enrolled in the Solectron–sponsored MBA program at Santa Clara University, graduating with an MBA with a concentration in finance.
Dale presently divides his time between Saratoga, California and Reno, Nevada.
